Paul works as a private consultant in public affairs training and strategy, in addition to lecturing at the European Studies Programme at The Hague University of Applied Sciences.
In his role as a consultant, he specializes in providing services such as training, simulations in lobbying and advocacy, project management, and strategic advice. Matteo Pederzoli coaches MEPs in Political Communication and teaches Public Speaking and How to optimize AI Tools for Communication to EU civil servants, including the European Labour Authority EURES Communication Working Group and the management of the Interreg Italy-Croatia cooperation program.
Matteo has conducted workshops on Strategic Communication and spoke on Compelling Narratives at DG NEAR events. He is the rapporteur for ECDC’s expert meetings and manages communication for the EU-funded TrialsNet project, focusing on advanced 5G applications. His event moderation portfolio includes engagements with DG EMPL, Council presidencies, and DG Competition. Matteo’s core expertise lies in stakeholder engagement and strategic communication, as evidenced by the ‘’EU Unplugged’’ debate series. He’s developed award-winning outreach campaigns within the context of the strategic planning and delivering of global gatherings dedicated to finding solutions to the pressing challenges of our time, such as the World Expos, on behalf of the European Institutions. He has contributed to the EU’s participation at Expo 2025 Osaka Kansai. He has spoken at congresses of various associations and has a background in journalism and international affairs.
